We Welcome Singers to Become Members of Our Group!
The Jefferson Choral Society season runs from the second Monday in September through Memorial Day weekend in May.
Auditions for the remainder of the season are scheduled by attending an open rehearsal on December 5 for our February 26 Best of Broadway concert or on February 27 for our April 30 Jesus, Son of Our Father concert.
Rehearsals take place Monday evenings from 7pm - 9pm at Timberlake United Methodist Church in Lynchburg. You are expected to attend a majority of rehearsals in order to sing in each concert. Section leaders maintain attendance.
Fees are payable annually or per concert. They are $100 for the entire season ($75 membership dues + $25 music rental) or $35 for each concert ($25 membersip dues + $10 music rental).
Formal concert attire is required. Ordering information will be provided for new members.
Singers must have email addresses in order to access the Members Only area of this website.
We are always looking for volunteers to serve in multiple ways. We are fortunate to have many member singers volunteer at various times throughout the season.
