| Description: |  Thrill to the majestic sounds of Johannes Brahms’s longest and grandest musical statement when the Jefferson Choral Society presents A German Requiem sung completely in English on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Joined on the stage of the sumptuous Historic Academy Theatre by baritone soloist Philip Bouknight and soprano Adelaide Trombetta and a seven-piece chamber orchestra, this uplifting work which begins and ends with the word blessed promises concertgoers a most memorable afternoon of classical music.
